AI for Interior Designers™ CEU Certificate Program

What is the AI for Interior Designers™ CEU Certificate Program?

It’s the first certification built specifically for the interior design industry.
Not a generic AI course. Not a random collection of tutorials.

You’re getting a structured, ethical, design-led path to becoming AI-literate as a team or a solo designer. The program launches January 2026 with semester-based live classes, CEUs, and a full ecosystem of tools. Certification awarded to individual firms to large companies at the end of each year.

What is the goal of this program?

The goal is to help designers use AI to enhance creativity, reduce repetitive tasks, and stay profitable. You keep your edge as technology evolves and learn how AI supports your workflow instead of replacing it.

Who is eligible for AIID?

Interior designers, studio owners, architects, project managers, ops leads, marketing teams, and brands that want their people to work faster, smarter, and with modern AI skills that actually apply to design work.

If design touches your day-to-day job, you’re in the right place.

What makes AIID different?

AIID is a fully-structured education and certification ecosystem built for professional interior design industry professionals. Not hobbyists. Every topic connects directly to design workflows and business operations. You build lasting systems that are entirely adaptable to your workflows and tech stack, not just learn tips, and leave with a repeatable playbook for AI-powered studio growth.

membership Options

Make up/ Drop-In / Open Enrollment Classes

A drop-in class is a one-time, 90-minute CEU-eligible session you can join without enrolling in the full program. Perfect for designers who want CEUs, want to try a class before committing, or just need a specific skill right now.
Includes: Live class + replay + materials for that session only.
No membership required.

Single Semester Enrollment

A semester is a focused, three-week experience with six live classes, make-up options, replays, and access to The Daily and the AI App Studio during that term. You can upgrade to Quarterly or Annual membership to keep earning credits toward the 20-credit certificate requirement. This does not lock in any current annual or quarterly rates if you do not purchase that when you enroll.

Includes: Six live classes, replays, portal access for the semester (90 day access to the tools from the first semester class), certificate credit eligibility.

Annual Membership (Annual or Quarterly Billing)

Everything you need for the year:

  • All live classes, plus lifetime access to recordings

  • The new DAIly on-demand video hub (rolling out January)

  • A searchable knowledgebase chatbot (January)

  • Industry-specific prompt libraries

  • The Google Gemini–powered AI App Studio

  • Design concept and project-generation tools

  • Built-in writing, content, and marketing agents

  • Workflow + project organization tools

  • New apps released every month

  • Year-round community resources to help you stay current

You’re not piecing together tools. You’re getting one ecosystem.
Includes: 4 semesters, 24 classes each semester plus minimum 3 make up classes per quarter, CEUs, live and replay access, tools, community, AI Day (1) event in person, makeup classes, credit tracking, and locked-in pricing for as long as you stay active.

What happens if I cancel my membership?

Your earned credits stay on record. You lose portal, AI tools, and portal access. All course notes and materials from the semester are emailed to you weekly, giving lifetime access to content you paid for. You can reactivate at any time and resume progress, but must be active when you submit for certificate.

What is the refund policy?

All plans are non-refundable because you get instant digital access to CEUs, courses, tools, and proprietary resources. No exceptions for any class or membership tier. Please view the full terms and conditions.

What is team pricing and policy?

What makes AIID ethical?

Responsibility of artificial intelligence professional integrity and sustainability is at the forefront of our mission and teachings. We do our best to protect our community and don’t release information to the general public that could be harmful for industry partners. Additionally, none of your projects, images, prompts, notes, or uploads are saved on AIID servers (unless clearly indicated prior to you starting your session).
Privacy and transparency are baked into the App Studio from day one. We abide by Google Gemini’s terms.

Can beginners join?

Absolutely. The entire ecosystem is built to remove the intimidation factor.
If you can run a design project, you can learn this.

How does AI for AI for Interior Designers™ certification work?

  • Earn 20 credits per year, 1.5 per class.

  • Attend at least 6 livestream classes (one full semester), complete assignments, and have an active membership to qualify for the annual certificate.

  • Details will be reviewed in detail during the first session.

  • Additional credits outside the 6 live classes can be on demand viewing.

  • All credit submissions must be in before required deadlines to be considered for eligibility.

What counts for certificate credit?

Live attendance or verified livestream is required for certificate credit. Assignments and participation are tracked for eligibility. Recorded classes are note eligible for CEU credit at this time.

How does recognition work?

Quarterly recognition for members who attend all 6 live sessions and complete assignments in a semester.

When do credits reset?

Credits reset every January 1 so your certificate always proves current, relevant mastery in a rapidly evolving industry.

What is “Pass With Honors”?

Annual members who complete every class offered that year (once per class), including core and bonus sessions, achieve “Pass With Honors.” They are recognized at the annual ceremony.

What is “High Honors”?

Annual members who complete every class offered and attend all sessions live receive “High Honors.” This honors top participation and commitment.

Are there make-up sessions?

Yes, all IDCEC classes are offered as make-up sessions rotated through the year and CEU credit is only granted for the first completion. Popular non-CEU classes are rotated for live sessions by member request.

What happens if I miss a required class?

You can catch up with make-up sessions. If not enough credits are earned by the deadline, you must complete additional classes in the next cycle to maintain certificate status.

Team Enrollment

How does team enrollment work?

Your studio buys one primary seat to open your team’s AIID dashboard.
That seat becomes the admin account, and from there you can add as many team members as you’d like during open enrollment.

Each person who will attend classes, earn CEUs, use The DAIly, or access the App Studio needs their own seat.

This ensures:

  • Their CEUs and AIID class credits are tracked individually

  • Their certification progress is accurate

  • Their App Studio limits and dashboards aren’t shared

  • You can offboard staff at any time and free up the seat

Do multiple team members share one account?

No.
AI tools, CEU credits, and dashboard features are per person, not shared.

Each person needs their own login to:

  • Earn and track CEUs (if applicable) and individual AIID credits.

  • Access private dashboards

  • Use App Studio tools under their own limits

  • Access their own saved workflows and transcripts

This keeps everything clean, compliant, and ethical.

Do Credits roll over?

No.
CEUs reset each calendar year, because staying current is the entire point of the certification. New tech, new processes, new best practices.

how does my annual membership work if i jon mid year?

o. If you join mid year during an open enrollment period you are eligible to become certified for that calendar year if you meet all the AIID requirements in that period. Your remaining time will roll over into the new calendar year and will renew at your same rate going forward. Just because billing rests it does not reset your credits mid year, you’ve just renewed your membership for the next year/ quarter etc.

Can team members join Mid Year?

Yes. Semesters have open enrollment periods and you can enroll more of your team members during that time at your special rate.

All certifications are for the current calendar year, as long as they join and meet the requirements by Q4 submission time- they can earn the current year certificate.

How do i add my team?

  1. Purchase your “Primary Seat”

This is your studio’s entry point into the program.
One person enrolls → you get admin access → in your dashboard you will see “Add seats”. Click that.

2. Additional Seats

Tell us how many seats you need and you receive a special discount code and link to add more people anytime during open enrollment.

The discount grows with your team size.
Starts at 10% off for up to 5 additional seats and scales up with the more seats you add.

Do additional seat discounts renew?

Yes.
Any seat added during a promotional period locks in the discounted renewal rate as long as they remain enrolled. Discounts are on top of what ever the current running promotion is when the seat is purchased.

Can we change team members later on annual plans?

Yes.
If someone leaves your team, you can deactivate their seat and invite another staff member that has taken that position in your company during open enrollment periods.

Does everyone on my team get certified?

Every individual who:

  • Has a seat

  • Attends the required live CEU classes (and wants to individually submit for IDCEC credit)

  • Completes the annual credit requirements
…will earn their own AIID Certificate for that year.

Individuals and various sized companies and industry organizations are all eligible for a collective annual certification. There are various ways that all sizes of companies can receive recognition for getting a large portion of their team certified.

What happens each year?

Each January:

  • A new class cycle starts

  • New CEUs are released

  • Tools get updated

  • All certifications reset

  • Students complete their credits again to maintain the AIID designation

This keeps your whole team aligned with the current state of AI, not last year’s version of it.

Are memberships refundable?

All memberships and classes are non-refundable because digital access and CEU administration is immediate. No exceptions unless required by local law.

Are all classes IDCEC accredited?

  • At least two new IDCEC accredited 1.5-credit classes are scheduled to release each semester.

  • Additional guest instructor classes may also be IDCEC eligible. All IDCEC courses are clearly labeled in the calendar and member portal.

What about other classes?

Other classes focus on practical interior design applications, studio systems, and tech workflows. Many are not CEU accredited but popular non-CEU live classes are rotated each semester and by member request for skill-building.

How do make-up and repeat classes work?

IDCEC CEU classes run several times a year so you can make up credits as needed. CEU credit can only be received once per class even if retaken. Most popular non-CEU classes are repeated for member access and skill updates. You must be enrolled in the semester or annual membership to take a make up class. You can not attend a class outside your registered semester.

How do I earn CEU credit?

You must attend CEU classes live (either in person or via the official livestream). On-demand viewing does not grant IDCEC credits but may count for AIID certificate credits if assignments are completed.

What about class attendance requirements?

Live attendance is required for certificate eligibility and for all IDCEC credit. You may attend virtually for most accredited sessions unless specified as in-person only. Attendance and participation is tracked for credit and certificate qualification.

How often are classes repeated?

Classes are intentionally repeated in rotation multiple times through the year to keep content and credits current and to allow members to retake for updates or make-up credits when necessary.

What is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment lets anyone join select live classes at $149 per class or $99 per class for monthly DAIly Access Plus members. These classes are offered throughout the year as make-up sessions and include both CEU and popular non-CEU offerings.

Regular semester classes (6 over 3 weeks) are not open to everyone. You must be a member to attend. The sessions from semesters are then cycled again over the year for “make up” (students) or “drop in” (open enrollment) classes.

Who can take Open Enrollment classes?

Anyone can take Open Enrollment classes without full membership enrollment. Semester and annual program members automatically receive access to open enrollment classes plus exclusive content. Non-members are limited to open enrollment class access only.

Can I upgrade from Open Enrollment?

Yes, if you choose to upgrade to a semester, quarterly, or annual plan, your open enrollment credits and attendance count toward your certificate as long as you maintain an active membership for that cycle.

How can I become a guest instructor?

Guest instructors can apply through our website. We seek industry experts with IDCEC credentials or unique AI/design expertise. Approved instructors are invited to teach live open enrollment or member-only classes and may offer additional CEU credits as part of the rotation.

How do I track progress and CEU credits?

Your progress, credits, and attendance are tracked automatically in the member portal once the program begins in January. Weekly notes and materials are emailed directly to you. Credits are visible on your dashboard with a summary sent at the end of each semester and year.

What if I have technical issues?

Common troubleshooting can be handled via live chat support or by viewing resource guides in the portal. If you need help with login, access, or assignment submission, reach out any time for assistance.

Where can I find announcements and updates?

Important program updates, new class dates, and CEU schedule changes are posted in the portal and sent via email to all enrolled members and in the main Event calendar on the website. We will also email you with updates and any changes in advance.
